Recipe: Appetizer: Spanish Style Ham & Cheese Bites

Makes 6 bites

Store-bought or homemade flatbread or pizza crust (cooked)
3 ounces thinly sliced Serrano ham
1 ¾ cups coarsely grated Manchego cheese
¼ cup finely chopped parsley

Arrange Serrano ham on top of the flatbread or pizza crust, leaving about a ½ inch border all around. Sprinkle the cheese and parsley on top of the ham. Bake in the upper third of a 350F oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. With a serrated knife, cut into 6 pieces.

Wine Skinny Serving Tip: These savory morsels are an easy addition to any cocktail party or casual gathering. And they match up nicely with red, white and sparkling wines.
