with focused cassis and currant fruit that

($8).Pleasant, moderate fruit and spice.
Nothing exceptional, but drinkable. Ready

now! (Weekend Wine , 10/03)
($45). Bold and
concentrated, with black currant and dark
chocolate aromas and flavors layered with
pretty spices and toasty vanilla. Lots
of oak going on here, but the fruit is
so intense that it all seems to balance
out. Long, tightly wound finish. Ready
to drink now and over the next four or
five years. (Drinks with Les Dames 02/08)
($11). Easy drinking
wine here, with ripe red berry and cherry
flavors accented with toasty oak and a
slight kick of spice. Ready to drink now.
