($13). The pretty, soft side of Viognier,
with floral accents to white peach and
lychee flavors on a light- to medium-bodied
structure. Easy with food. Ready to drink
now. (Bargain Wine 06/05)
($9). This was
really the surprise hit frankly,
we had a hunch wed like the reds,
but werent quite as sure about the
white. Inexpensive white wine can really
be awful. But this blend of Rhone varietals
(Grenache blanc, Bourboulenc, Ugni Blanc,
and Roussane) was unexpectedly complex
and appealing. Just a touch of oak adds
roundness and depth to the flavor profile,
while leaving a clean and refreshing finish.
Outstanding with cold seafood dishes,
and perfect at cocktail time. (ETFOFW,

($11). Supple apricot, nectarine and tangerine
flavors are juicy and quaffable, staying
focused through the generous finish. Ready
to drink now. (Bargain Wine 06/05)
($14).
Zesty flavors include lemon curd and crisp
apple, with appealing mineral and fig
on the finish. Ready to drink now and
over the next couple of years. (Bargain
Wine 06/05)
